Course Description:

This 12-week course will strengthen and broaden your B2+/C1 level vocabulary range and prepare you for C-level coursework and exams. The book we will be using, covers 13 various thematic areas and work on numerous exercises, however, we will focus on 5-6 areas, depending on class/student pace. Class time will be devoted to oral and written activities in those subject areas. The course is thematically based, with emphasis on vocabulary fields. Grammar will be briefly reviewed as we encounter structures during our activities. The goal is to improve your advanced level vocabulary and communication skills, and prepare students for more advanced and complex language challenges.

Learn in a fun environment that focuses on communication and teaches important language skills for everyday life and contemporary professional aspects.

***Please note: this course is intended for German speakers who have at least a B2+ level of German, in order to keep the class on track. To confirm your level, please take this placement test before registering for the class. Thank you for your understanding!***

Location & Time:

This is an ONLINE class that meets for 12 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Link to Zoom classroom will be sent by the instructor approximately 72 hours before the start of the first class session.

Additionally, the instructor will offer a weekly "office hour" (30 min) for homework questions and review.
