Course Description:
Are you getting ready for a trip to Germany or a German-speaking country? This class will prepare you for your trip and enhance your experience. You will acquire basic German language skills and learn about the culture and everyday life of Germany and German-speaking countries. In a fun and interactive way, you will get ready for typical travel situations like meeting people, shopping, making reservations, eating at a restaurant or using public transportation.
This class is suitable for complete beginners and learners who have not yet completed the A1 level.
If you have completed more than two beginners classes or have stayed in a German-speaking country for an extended period of time please stay tuned - an advanced German for Travelers class will be offered in the future.
Meeting Times:
This is an online class that meets for 4 weeks on Saturday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
Minimum Enrollment:
If there are too few students registered to run a class section, the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) in the week prior to the term’s start date to discuss other class options.
