B1.3 (in-person)

Course Description:

For students who have completed B1.2.

Learn in a fun environment that focuses on communication and teaches important language skills for everyday life and contemporary professional aspects.

If you are unsure of your level, please take a placement test.

Course Objectives:

At the end of B 1.3 students will be able to understand and express chronological order. They know how to describe people, images and objects in detail and express emotions. They will be able to talk about German historical events and evaluate them. They will also be able to discuss problems and opinions and they know how to find information in reports, chats and articles.

Meeting Times:

This is an onsite class that meets for 12 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Additionally, the instructor will offer a weekly "office hour" (30 min) for homework questions and review.

Participants will receive the Zoom Link and an invitation to their Google Classroom 48 hours before the first session.

Textbook:

You can add the textbook to your order at checkout. Books will be ready for pickup at the GAI (301 Summit Ave, MN 55102) a week before classes begin. You will receive an email with pickup instructions. If you would like to get your book in the mail, please add shipping to your order (a $10 fee applies).

Minimum Enrollment:

If there are too few students registered to run a class section, the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) in the week prior to the term’s start date to discuss other class options.
