A2.2 (online)

Course Description:

For students with 12-15 months of German language instruction or completion of A2.1.

Learn in a fun environment that focuses on communication and teaches important language skills for everyday life and contemporary professional aspects. 

If you are unsure of your level, please take a placement test.

Course Objectives:

At the end of A2.2, students will be able to talk about their personal lives and offer some details about their education and career as well as their hopes and dreams. They can interact in a simple way with other German speakers and can make phone calls and take messages.

Meeting Times:

This is an online class that meets for 12 weeks on Monday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm online via Zoom. Additionally, the instructor will offer a weekly "office hour" (30 min) for homework questions and review. 

Textbook:

Schritte International Neu 3+4 (textbook and coursebook) - $65

You can add the textbook to your order at checkout. Books will be ready for pickup at the GAI (301 Summit Ave, MN 55102) a week before classes begin. You will receive an email with pickup instructions. If you would like to get your book in the mail, please add shipping to your order (a $10 fee applies).

Minimum Enrollment:

If there are too few students registered to run a class section, the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) in the week prior to the term’s start date to discuss other class options.
