This six-week summer course is all about turning passive knowledge into active communication. Designed for learners at the B1 level (minimum completion: B1.2), the class focuses on speaking, interacting, and thinking in German in real-life situations—not just filling in blanks on a worksheet.
Expect lively conversations, roleplays, games, and group activities that get you talking (yes, even if you’re a little nervous at first). We’ll revisit key grammar and vocabulary, but always with one goal in mind: helping you express yourself more naturally and confidently.
By the end of the course, you won’t just know German—you’ll actually use it. And maybe even enjoy it.
Meeting Times:
This is an in-person class that meets on six Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the GAI (301 Summit Ave).
Textbook:
No textbook needed.
Minimum Enrollment:
If there are too few students registered to run a class section, the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) in the week prior to the session’s start date to discuss other class options.
