B2.2 (in-person ~ Wed. PM)

Course Description:

B2.2 will cover chapters 5 through 8 of the Sicher! B2 book. 

Learn in a fun environment that focuses on communication and teaches important language skills for everyday life and contemporary professional aspects.

Course Objectives:

At the end of B2.2, participants can understand the main content of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics. They will be able to communicate more spontaneously and fluently so that a normal conversation with native speakers is possible without major effort on either side.   

Course Dates, Times & Location:

This is an in-person that meets for 12 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm once a week. Additionally, the instructor will offer a weekly "office hour" (30 min) for homework questions and review. The course instructor will decide on a day/time to offer the 30-minute office hour and communicate day/time of week with all registered course participant

Textbooks:

Sicher! B2 - Deutsch als Fremdsprache (Kursbuch + Arbeitsbuch)

• Cost: $75 for the set, available for purchase directly from the GAI by adding the textbook option to your cart.
• Order Deadline: Please note that the cutoff to order textbooks from the GAI will be 12/01/2025 in order to receive your books in time. Book orders placed after 12/01/2025 aren't guaranteed to be available by the start date, so we highly encourage participants to order textbooks during the initial registration.**
• Textbook Pickup: Books ordered before 12/01/2025 will be available for pick up approximately one week prior to the first class session. Please be sure to check your email for updates about book pickup dates. 
• Shipping: If you live outside of the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and/or cannot pick up your books onsite at the GAI, you will need to select the shipping option at checkout. A $12.00 shipping & handling fee applies.

Minimum Enrollment:

If there are too few students registered to run a class section, the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) in the week prior to the term’s start date to discuss other class options.
