Calling all rising teens and teenage chefs ages 11 to 14! Join our Cooking Camp with a German Twist at the Germanic American Institute! From 9 AM to 12 PM, 11 to 14 year-olds will embark on a delightful culinary adventure that combines the best of German flavors with creative cooking fun.
Led by experienced instructors, our camp goes beyond the basics, infusing each lesson with a German touch. Kids will not only learn essential cooking skills, but also gain a cultural appreciation for the rich culinary traditions of Germany.
A $20 material fee is already included in the camp price.
This is an immersive-style camp. It is recommended that campers have at least an intermediate level of German.
Registration for this schedule starts on 02/02/2026 and ends on 06/29/2026
Participants must be 11 years to 14 years old when the program starts.

Calling all teen chefs ages 12 to 15! Join our Cooking Camp "Kochen unter einem DACH" at the Germanic American Institute! Campers will learn how to cook and bake the best German, Swiss, and Austrian recipes from the DACH region of Europe
Deutschland (Germany), Austria, and Confoederatio Helvetica (Switzerland). Led by experienced instructors, our camp goes beyond the basics, infusing each lesson with a German touch. Kids will not only learn essential cooking skills, but also gain a cultural appreciation for the rich culinary traditions of the DACH region.

This is an immersive-style camp. It is recommended that campers have at least an upper intermediate level of German.
Registration for this schedule starts on 02/02/2026 and ends on 07/06/2026
Participants must be 11 years and 7 months to 15 years old when the program starts.
German Summer Camps for Children ages 11 to 14
These camps are for all German language levels, from German beginners to bilingual campers, all are welcome! Each camp lasts one week (M–F) and is centered around a fun and highly-interactive theme. Please see the specific camp description for German experience recommendations and camp theme/focus. During these fun and interactive camps, children will speak, hear, sing and create in German while exploring engaging topics!
Scholarships and Discounts
Limited need-based scholarship opportunities are available. Please fill out the scholarship HERE or contact [email protected] prior to registering if you would like to apply for a scholarship. If you register multiple children for the same camp week, a $20 discount will be applied to the 2nd registration.
