Boost your German with this 6-week series of intensive review and practice focusing on the articles "der, die, das". In this fun and casual class, you will learn all about rules and exceptions to confidently choose the correct article for each noun.
Nouns in German are differentiated according to their genus (i.e. gender). Every noun also has a companion, the article. Unfortunately, nouns in German are not usually recognizable by their gender, so it is the article that provides information about it. While the best tip is to always learn the word together with the article, we will share are some clues that can be used to find out the correct article: e.g. based on the meaning or the ending.
This class is for participants who are at least at the upper A1 level (must have completed A1.2 or higher).
Meeting Times:
This is an in-person class that meets for 6 weeks on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

If there are too few students registered to run a class section, the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) in the week prior to the term’s start date to discuss other class options.
